Online marketing campaign to promote the new PlayStation®Move game
Site design for the European marketing division
I have designed a new service for Sony’s PlayStation 3 console that enables movie companies to promote their new feature films directly through the PlayStation online portal. If you are viewing this site on a PlayStation 3, click here to see the service.
For the launch of InFamous 2, Sucker Punch’s new PS3 game, I produced a minisite to host a preview video, intranet update and dedicated YouTube and Twitter page for all of Europe.
For a number of Sony game launches I have designed and coded in Flash various games and competitions that are used for marketing on eu.playstation.com. These are all XML driven and translated into most European countries. These competitions often have over 100,000 entries.
For the launch of Blur, the racing game by Activision, I designed a competition to run concurrently on eu.playstation.com and FaceBook for the Europe market. For the launch of ModNation, the new racing game, Sony requested a series of advertising and promotional items for the Europe. This included eu.playstation.com Flash adverts, competitions, banner adverts. This was the sole online marketing tool to get information to the consumers for the launch of the top selling PlayStation 3 game. The site included blog information, downloadable content, screenshots, videos and competition links.
